Jammy Jams Pop Goes Lullaby 3 Review

Are you tired of hearing the same lullaby over and over again? I know I have definitely gotten pretty sick of hearing twinkle twinkle little star on repeat every night for five years! To be honest, I was hoping her music box would have died by now seeing as how the projection part no longer works. With my luck the music box is still going strong.

Needless to say, when I got the chance to review Jammy Jams Pop Goes Lullaby 3 I was super excited.

I love the idea of having today's music incorporated into lullabies! I always find my daughter humming along to some song, so I think it's great she can listen to music she knows while in dreamland.

The songs that I know by heart or listen to a lot, are spot on in the lullaby rendition. I can definitely tell which song it is instantly. The tunes are catchy and very soothing! I just wish I had known about this back when my daughter younger, I think we could have avoided being driven mad by twinkle twinkle little star.

Track listing:
1. Dark Horse (Lullaby Rendition of Katy Perry)
2. Stay With Me (Lullaby Rendition of Sam Smith)
3. Fancy  (Lullaby Rendition of Iggy Azalea)
4. Maps (Lullaby Rendition of Maroon 5)
5. Ain’t it Fun (Lullaby Rendition of Paramore)
6. Summer (Lullaby Rendition of Calvin Harris)
7. Problem (Lullaby Rendition of Ariana Grande)
8. Am I Wrong (Lullaby Rendition of Nico & Vinz)
9. My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Lullaby Rendition of Fall Out Boy)
10. Chandelier (Lullaby Rendition of Sia)

pureSOL Activated Charcoal Konjac Sponge Review

I recently got to try out pureSOL's activated charcoal konjac sponge. I'm always on the hunt to try something new, and it's even better if it's a product that helps improve your facial skin. My skin isn't terrible, but It could definitely use a few improvements. I mean who doesn't want brighter looking skin and to improve the texture of it.

So, what exactly is a konjac sponge? Konjac is a moisture rich plant fibre that is native to Asia, Japan, China, and Indonesia. Not only is it used for beauty products, but it's also used as medicine and food. It's nature alkaline helps balance the acidity of the skins impurities and oils. The sponge gently massages the skin by breaking down the dirt and stimulating the blood flow, which helps promote new skin cell growth. The sponge is made of 100% pure vegetable fiber and is processed without coloring or additives, making it good for hypersensitive skin.

I started using the konjac sponge right away. The first thing I noticed while taking it out of the packaging was that it was pretty hard. I soaked it for a few minutes and it was completely squishy. It also had a tiny string attached and came with a small suction hook. It recommends to hang it in a well ventilated area so it can dry. I have a nosey cat that likes to knock things down, so I decided to keep mine in the bathroom by the sink. I've been using the sponge for a couple of weeks now and I haven't noticed any irritation or redness. Which is great because my skin can be terribly sensitive at times. I've noticed that I also don't have as much dry skin around my nose. So, It's definitely helping with some of my skin issues.

This pureSOL konjac sponge is also 100% natural and eco friendly. Brownie points! I love that it's free of parabens, sulfates, and chemicals. It's also biodegradable! You can compost the sponge when it's time to replace it. I also like that it's cruelty free and vegan.

Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil Review

If you're not familiar with tea tree oil, you should definitely look into it. Tea tree oil is an essential oil that is derived from the leaves of Melaleuca tree in Australia.

I recently got the opportunity to try out Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil. I've heard of tea tree oil before, but didn't know too much about it. I thought that the only use for tea tree oil was for acne issues. I was wrong! I found out about the many different uses it has, and I was amazed at what I found out.

Apothecary Extracts sent me an e-book with 50+ uses for the tea tree oil, along with a little recipe to create new things. The e-book was very helpful. I learned that not only can you use tea tree oil for fighting acne, but you can also use it for toe fungus, lice, skin tags, dandruff, ringworm, eczema, and so much more.

You can even use tea tree oil to make your own shampoo, lotion, body wash, and toothpaste. That isn't all tea tree oil can do. You can use it to make all natural household cleaners! Which I think is pretty great, especially when I've got a little one and a cat.

I've tried the tea tree oil on three things so far. First I tried it for my acne, and I can definitely tell a difference. My acne isn't completely gone, but it's definitely not as bad as it was. The second thing I tried it on was my eczema. I didn't have eczema until two years ago, and it comes and goes as it pleases. I had a spot on my arm that had been terribly itchy for at least two weeks, and nothing was helping it. Not even my prescription cream. So I decided what the heck, the tea tree oil can't make it any worse. I put it on once a day and it slowly started to go away. I do have a little scar from itchy, but the red bumpy skin is gone! I've also tried it in my shampoo. I just mixed a drop into my regular shampoo and washed my hair. My scalp hasn't been nearly as itchy, and the tea tree oil makes it feel minty fresh.

I plan on trying the all natural cleaners with it soon!

I've only got one complaint about the tea tree oil, and that would be how strong the scent is. It's not a scent that I enjoy, but I've gotten use to it.

Litter Genie Review

I recently got accepted for the Litter Genie Sampling Program on Crowdtap. If you're not sure what Crowdtap is basically it's and exclusive commuinty of people who come to discover and try products from popular brands, create content, and spread the word to their friends. You share feedback and influence popular brands, along with getting to explore and test new products out. All with the chance to win gift cards! You can check it all out here.

I had been debating on buying the Litter Genie ever since we adopted Karl. Needless to say I was pretty excited to be accepted into this sampling on crowdtap.

Cats are awesome pets to have! They all have different personalities and little quirks that make them oh so adorable. But let's face it, their litter boxes can get extremely stinky. I know Karl can definitely 'blow' it up - Haha.

The Litter Genie system is extremely easy to use. All you do is scoop the clumps from the litter box and put them into your litter genie. Then you pull on the handle to drop the clumps into the bag and close to seal in the odor. Odor is sealed away for 14 days for one cat.

I absolutely love the Litter Genie now that I have one. It takes up very little space and is extremely convenient. I no longer have to worry about Karl's buried treasures stinking up the house. The litter genie does an amazing job at trapping the odors and makes it easier to clean the litter box.

Emptying the litter genie is also very simple. It comes with a built in child proof cutter, to cut the bag when your ready to use a new bag. Once you cut the bag tie it then toss it! Then you pull down the plastic bag to the bottom of the litter genie, tie a knot, and then close the unit. It's extremely easy!

I feel the litter genie is definitely worth the buy. That is if you're tired of the stinky box. The price runs about $14 at Walmart. The refills vary in price from about $6 to $15 depending on how many ft of the bag you want.

The Lego Movie Blu-Ray Giveaway

The LEGO® Movie, the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller is an original 3D computer animated story that follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
Chris Pratt (Moneyball) stars as the voice of Emmet. Will Ferrell (The Campaign) stars as the voice of his primary adversary, President Business, an erudite, anal-retentive CEO who has a hard time balancing world domination with micro-managing his own life; while Liam Neeson (Taken) voices the president's powerful henchman, known as Bad Cop, who will stop at nothing to catch Emmet.
Starring as Emmet's fellow travelers are Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby), as Vitruvius, an old mystic; Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games, Emmy nominee for 30 Rock), as tough-as-nails Lucy, who mistakes Emmet for the savior of the world and guides him on his quest; Will Arnett (Emmy nominee, 30 Rock), as the mysterious Batman, a LEGO minifigure with whom Lucy shares a history; Nick Offerman (NBC's Parks and Recreation) as a craggy, swaggering pirate, obsessed with revenge on President Business; and Alison Brie (Community) as a sweet, loveable member of the team, with a powerful secret.
